CARTERS SHOES

After the Second World War, two brothers, Reg Carter and Norman Carter returned from being held as Japanese prisoners of war and joined their father at Speedy Shoe Repairs in Botolph Lane, Cambridge. The business rapidly developed to the point where they started selling shoes as well as repairing them. In 1994 the business moved to Barton in close proximity to Junction 12 of the M11, where free, off-road parking is available in our car park situated right outside the shop eliminating the hassles involved from town centre shopping and making a visit easy for people with walking difficulties.
